It's all good, but this is where that year delay comes in because if I had reviewed this a year ago, this would have all been cutting edge. Now the market has moved on and there are tags everywhere and some score tracking devices that don't even need you to tap to know the club you used. If you don't mind remembering which club you used and entering it manually then the automatic shot tracking may be enough to make the SkyCaddie Link GT GPS Tour Watch Edition combined with the app a hands free and more financially viable option.
Given the level of detail, its features and robust design, the SX500 could well be one of the most complete handheld GPS devices ever made but with the annual membership fees after the first year on top of what is already a significant price tag, it represents a serious investment.

The LX5 may not track your shots but it may well save you a few, giving accurate distances you can rely on and crystal clear hole maps that enable you to see what lies ahead in great detail. It's a little bulky, but is light and comfortable to wear without impeding the swing.
