The touchscreen GPS watch is available in two sizes and has a 16+ hour battery life so you can play all day without having to charge it. It's easy to use, with a user-friendly interface that makes navigating the course map a breeze. The hole tracking feature lets you measure the length of each hole and see if your ball landed on the fairway or in the rough, while shot distance records how far you hit your last shot, no matter where it lands. The heart rate monitor is currently unavailable on this model.

We found its usability to be a bit of a hindrance and the lack of instructions also made it difficult to get the most out of the features, especially early on. However, for those used to Bushnell's touchscreen or who are able to master it quickly, this will be a very solid and affordable GPS watch.

The ION Edge is a straightforward, easy to digest watch which does everything you’d need it to do out on the golf course as well as a couple of handy extra features such as the pin mapping and scorecard. But it falls down in a couple of key areas, including the clunky touchscreen and slightly awkward setup process.
