The Garmin Approach X10 GPS Watch is the perfect golf companion. With a touchscreen and full-color display, you can quickly review your scorecard with just a few swipes. The size of the watch is 21 mm x 25 mm x 11 mm and it has a 12 hour battery life with 23 days of standby time. It also includes course maps so you can see exactly where you're going, a Pin Pointer feature to measure how far away the pin is from your current location, and has a manual shot distance measurer.

A simple no-frills golf watch, the Approach X10 satisfies our golfing needs in a comfortable and slender form factor. While there are much more feature-packed golf watches out there the Approach X10 provides reliable distance, hazard and shot measurement data a reminder of how far smartwatch golf apps still have to come, and dedicated GPS watches still have a place on golfer’s wrists. Those who don’t like the band design should look to the Approach S10, which features the same features in a watch.

Overall, it’s definitely a well-made watch that has some accurate features, but in our opinion, the Approach X40 is a better option. It’s very similar in price and it has a lot more features you can use out on the course. The X40 is compatible with Garmin TruSwing and it has a lot more activity tracking features.
